Wilma Dean Johnson, 85, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Wilma was born on March 15, 1941, in Athens, Tennessee, to Cleaston and Nola June Carver Moates, both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her precious daughter, Cheryl Renee Miller.

Wilma was a nurse by profession and a faithful member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Benton, Tennessee. She was a woman of faith who found great joy in caring for others. Above all else, Wilma adored her family, and the love she shared with them will forever remain in their hearts.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved daughters, Robin Anette Colloms of Blairsville, Georgia, and Denise Harris of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; her only granddaughter, Erin Harris of Fountain Inn, South Carolina; and a host of extended family and dear friends who will miss her dearly.

A private service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, in the Green Room of Buckner & Fike Funeral Home.
