Willard Eugene Bryson, age 91, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on October 2, 2026.

Willard was born on January 21, 1935, to Charles and Myrtle Newman Runyon, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Reba Bryson; daughters, Nancy Bryson and Debra Dotson; and brothers, Carl Bryson and Denver Bryson.

Willard proudly retired from the United States Marine Corps. He loved his family dearly and will be remembered for the love and devotion he shared with those closest to him.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Jeannie McDowell (Scott) of Chickamauga, Craig Bryson (Pamela) of Rossville, and Patricia Newman (Gary) of Cleveland; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In keeping with Mr. Bryson’s wishes, a private service will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga.
