It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Sallie Swanola McKeehan, who departed this life on May 8th, 2026, in Chattanooga, TN. Born on February 23rd, 1935, in Ball Play, TN, Sallie's journey through life was marked by devotion to the Lord and an unwavering love for her precious family. 

A woman of gentle strength and grace, Sallie retired from Hardwick Clothing and embraced the noble role of homemaker with complete dedication. Beyond her professional endeavors, she was a gifted quilter and gardener.  

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Simpson and Emma Jones; her cherished husband, Reverend Paul R. McKeehan; her dear daughter, Leslie Anderson; and five sisters. 

Those who carry forward her legacy include her devoted son Charles "Tom" McKeehan and his wife Kym, along with grandchildren Angie McKinney and her husband Jess, Phillip Lively, Jr. and her great grandchildren Nathan, Colby and Lacy McKinney. She is also fondly remembered and survived by several nieces and nephew who lives were touched by her. 

A private service will be held on Friday, May 22nd, 2026, per her wishes. 

Sallie McKeehan's life was a beacon of faith, family and unfaltering love and she leave behind a legacy that will forever inspire those who had the privilege to know her. Her memory will endure as it's lovingly carried in the hearts of all whom she so deeply cherished.
