Peggy Ann Bell passed away peacefully at her residence on May 7, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on August 4, 1943, in Houston, Texas, Peggy was the daughter of the late Kirk and Laura Payne. She was a woman of strong faith and was of the Catholic faith throughout her life.

Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald Bell; her precious daughter, Lisa Huggins; her parents, Kirk and Laura Payne; four sisters, Geraldine, Polly, Katherine, and Bobbie; and four brothers, James, Bill, Mike, and Wilbert.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving family members: Linnette Reno (Archie); grandchildren, Megan Merwin, Brie Wells (Adam), Brittany Kolwyck (Brian), and Zachary Reno; and great-grandchildren, Zoey Parks, Addison Barrett, Brody Merwin, Tristan Merwin, Hudson Hutchison, Colson Wells, Bryson Wells, River Wells, and Axton Wells.

Peggy also leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews, along with close family friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.

Peggy will be remembered for her love of family, her enduring faith, and the warmth she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
