Mary Snow Hudson

Mary Madonia Hudson, age 60, passed away at home in Cleveland, Tennessee.

She was born Mary Madonia Martin on May 14, 1966 in Bay County, Florida. Her father was Robert Lee Martin and her mother was Margaret Sue Barnett. She was later adopted by Arthur Wade Snow. She worked with Ruth Ellen Hardwick training first responders for the Red Cross. We married on July 8th, 1993. When we lived in Lakeland, Florida for five years she became a child’s advocate. She cared deeply for children and when her granddaughter was born on August 17th, 2024, she was so excited. She was born of our daughter Ruth Ellen Hudson and James Zachary Andies. She loved helping Ruthie take care of her grandbaby!

She is survived by her sisters Dannette Sheafer and Sara Martin, husband Dean Hudson, son Levi Hudson, daughter Ruth Hudson, granddaughter Kairi Andies, step daughters Dana Villar, Jada Arthur, and Stacia Buttrey, and many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Robert Lee Martin and her step father Arthur Wade Snow.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 29th at Buckner Fike Funeral Home at 6:00pm. The funeral will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN on Friday, October 30th at 1:00pm.

She will be missed by so many people, especially by her husband of 33 years, Dean Hudson. I pray she will be reunited with her Godmother and best friend Ruth Ellen Hardwick in heaven!
