Margaret Lea Sullins, age 82, a resident of Cleveland, TN, went home to be with the Lord on September 20, 2026.

She was a 1962 graduate of Polk County High School, a 1965 graduate of East TN Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, and attended the University of Tennessee–Knoxville. She followed what she felt was God’s calling for her to be a Registered Nurse. She considered it a blessing to have been able to work as an office nurse with Dr. William I. Proffitt for 25 years and continue as an occupational health nurse with MARS, Inc., retiring in 2006.

She became a Christian on June 24, 1958, and was baptized by her father on August 24, 1958. She was a member of First Baptist Church Cleveland since 1973. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. James Lester Lea and Verlie Mae Brock Lea; her brother, Virgil Lea; and her sister-in-law, Marie Lea. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Joe B. Prichard, and her husband of 25 years, Jack Norman Sullins.

She is survived by her son, Curt B. Prichard; his wife, Sheeba George; grandchildren, Anna Whitaker and her husband, Bates; Andrew Prichard and his wife, Christi; Abigail Prichard; Addison Prichard; Isaac George; and Amina George. She loved her grandchildren deeply and always had pictures to show. She is also survived by her brother, John Lea; her dear niece, Tina Sonnier; and great-nephew, Matthew Sonnier, along with her sister-in-law, Carolyn Lea, and nephews, Brian and Ben Lea. Margaret had numerous extended family members and friends whom she called “family” and dearly loved.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, Cleveland, TN. A private graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Chattanooga.
