Lowell “Woody” Timmons II passed away at his home in Cleveland, Tennessee, on June 1, 2026.

Born in Hollywood, Florida, he was the eldest child of Lowell, Sr., and Beverly Timmons. The family moved to Cleveland, Tennessee in 1977, and Woody graduated from Bradley Central High School in 1984.

Growing up, he and his father enjoyed sports, hunting, fishing, and camping together. In addition to being an avid outdoorsman, Woody enjoyed learning how things were made, cooking, gardening, history, and rock music. He also had a special love for animals. Woody could have a conversation with anyone about anything, and his infectious laugh could be heard from a mile away.

Woody married Tabitha Holcomb in 1990 and together they welcomed their only child together, a son, Acea James, in the same year. Though divorced, Woody and Tabitha remained lifelong friends.

He married his second wife, Pamela Kelley in 2007. They lived happily together before she passed away in 2012.

Woody spent his later years caring for his mother and helping his son and daughter-in-law raise his grandchildren, whom he cherished more than anything.

Woody was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela, father, Lowell, Sr., grandfather, Robert, grandmothers, Betty and Ruth, uncles, James and Michael, aunt, Diane, and cousin, David.

Left to carry on his legacy are his beloved son, Acea (Hannah), grandchildren, Maci and Thorin, mother, Beverly, mother of his child, Tabitha, step-daughters, Brandy and Faith, siblings, Melinda and Patrick, and his nieces and nephews.

There will be no public service.
