Jacquita Ann Hinkle

Jacquita Ann Hinkle, 73, of Tallahassee, Florida, and a former resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026.

Born on February 28, 1953, in Texas, Jacquita was the daughter of the late Olen and Martha Fiveash. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, James "Jim" Hinkle; her cherished brother, Anthony Fiveash; and her uncle, Junior Hinkle.

Jacquita dedicated much of her professional life to administrative work with Notary Public Underwriters, where she was known for her dependability and caring nature. She was of the Baptist faith and found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. Her daughters and grandchildren were the center of her world, and she treasured every moment shared with them.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving daughters, Melissa Hinkle and Kristy Jenkins, both of Florida; her grandchildren, Austin Hinkle, Emily Cyril (Khalil), Summer Jenkins, and Ronald Jenkins, Jr.; her beloved sister, Aleta Staufebiel; her aunt, Juanita Hinkle; and a host of loving family members, including Sarah Conseco (Ivan), Regina Shelton, Joseph Fiveash, David Hinkle (Heather), Emily Hinkle (Chad), and Anna Hinkle, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her greatly.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. at Buckner & Fike Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Fr. Nolan officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
