Doris Nell Brooks Cooper

Doris Cooper, 85, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at her residence.  Born in Alabama she lived a majority of her life in Chattanooga.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Brooks; mother, Nona Crutchfield Brooks Hinson; husband, Clayton Cooper; daughter, Pamela Turner; and sister, Helen Sorrells.

Survivors include her daughters, Gail (Dexter) Gardenhire of Chattanooga and Vicki Howell of Clarksville; five grandchildren, Phillip Walker, Leslie Walker and Erica (Matthew) Craft, all of Chattanooga, Christi Akins Holt of Clarksville and Gage M. Morse of Murfreesboro; nine great grandchildren; and ten great great grandchildren.
