Donald Edward Meagher

Donald Edward Meagher, 90, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Meagher and Mildred Meagher, and by his beloved wife, Peggy Meagher.

A hardworking and dedicated man, Donald retired from the Bowater Plant and was also well known for his years of service at Meagher & Meagher Furniture Store, where he faithfully served his community. He was a man of deep faith and a devoted member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Donald was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus, living a life marked by service, generosity, and compassion.

He is survived by his loving siblings, Cathy Rymer, Mary Anne Lyles, Steve Meagher, Jim Meagher (Pat), and Rev. Cletus Meagher, along with a host of cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Buckner & Fike Funeral Home and Cremation Services. A Rosary will be prayed during the visitation.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the United States Army from Fort Campbell.
