James Franklin Mowery


James Franklin Mowery, 92, a resident of McDonald passed away Friday August 15, 2008 at the family residence. Mr. Mowery was of the Baptist faith.

He was a well known trapper and farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Mowery and Emma Gates Mowery; brothers, T.J. Mowery and J.E. Mowery.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews; devoted friends, Tex and Shirley Webb of Cleveland, Tiny Webb of McDonald, Paul Webb and Jerry Webb of Cleveland and Terry Webb of Benton and a host of other friends.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday August 17, 2008 in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery with Terry Webb and Reverend Barry Lee officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Fike Funeral Home.
