Ellen Lee Pope

Ellen Lee Pope, 90, a resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday, December 19, 2009 in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Blue Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Brown and Bertha Mae Cross Brown; husband, Thomas F. Pope; three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by special friend, Jean Beaty of Cleveland; brothers: Frank Brown, Roy Brown and Arnold Brown all of Cleveland; sisters: Margie Wilson of Florida, Geneva Durham of Cleveland and Anna Belle McClelland of Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, December 21, 2009 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Snyder officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, December 20, 2009 at the funeral home.
