Reba E. Riggs

Reba Riggs, 87, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 in a local hospital. She was of the Church of God faith. She enjoyed traveling and fully enjoyed life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Mae Caywood Messer; daughter, Janice Hampton; sister, Emma Dean Messer; brothers; A.J. Gates Huebert Messer and Elmer Messer. Survivors include her daughters: Cathy Creasman and Sonia Brackin and husband, Terry all of Cleveland; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday July 14, 2010 at Moores Chapel Cemetery with the Reverend Marshall Roberson officiating. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 11-1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
