Marie B. Hansird

Marie B. Hansird, 90, a resident of Cleveland passed Sunday, September 26, 2010 in a local health care facility. She was a member of Maple Street Baptist Church and a former volunteer at Life Care of Cleveland. She was preceded in death by her parents; Anderson A. Bettis and Eliza Swanger Bettis; husband, Hershel Hansird; son, Gary Hansird and five brothers and four sisters. Survivors include one granddaughter, Eva Hansird of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Flossie Bettis of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 in the Chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Jimmy Bettis officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
