James R. Lawson

James R. Lawson, 57, a longtime resident of Cleveland passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 in a local hospital. Mr. Lawson was of the Baptist Faith. He was employed with Luck Color Lab for 25 years. James was a wonderful husband and father and dearly loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed Nascar Racing and was a Tennessee Vols fan. Survivors include his wife, Sherry Rollins Lawson of Cleveland; parents, Billy and Louise Lawson of Rockwood, TN; sons, Craig Lawson and Richard Lawson both of Cleveland; grandchildren, Christa Lawson, Tyson Lawson, Emily Lawson and Gage Lawson; brothers, Robert Lawson and Mike Lawson; sisters, Rose Dowker and Debbie Wilkerson; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 23, 2010 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Ricky Vaughn and Jeff Kelly officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at the funeral home.
