Margaret Jo Parker

Margaret Jo Parker, 80, a resident of Cleveland passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2012 in a local hospital surrounded by her family. Born May 24, 1931 in Cleveland, she was a caregiver to many of her nephews, nieces and grandchildren. A loving mother and grandmother, she was one who never complained before or during her illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jessie Hysinger; two sisters, Frances Keller and Lillian Stuman; three brothers, H.L., Bobby and Joby Hysinger. Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Hoyt Parker; two daughters, Janie Brewer and husband, Clyde, Bobbie Bischoff and husband Don; five grandchildren, Michelle Moore and husband Scott, Chris Brewer and wife Chancie, Keisha Brewer, Travis Farris and wife Lorie and Amber Farris; seven great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Billy Parker and wife Joan; sisters-in-law, Lola Tanksley and Brenda Wilson and husband Jack; special nephew and nieces, Lawerence Holder, Pat Holder and Reba Cook. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Ronald McDowell and Minister Steve Hall officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Mt. Olive Cemetery. Chris Brewer, Peyton Brewer, Scott Moore, Parker Moore, Levi Moore, Travis Farris, Logan Farris and Greg Cunningham will serve as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 4:00-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
