Flavis Joe Pierce

Flavis Joe Pierce, 80, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Saturday, April 07, 2012 at his home. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Pierce enjoyed fishing and gardening and was a big NASCAR fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Omas and Beulah Pierce; brother, Vaughn Pierce and sister, Ressie Pierce Ledford. Survivors include his wife, Chris Pierce of Cleveland; daughter, Tammy Harris and husband, Mark of Cleveland; son, Eddie Pierce and wife, Elizabeth and special grandchild, Pierce Harris. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Mike Passmore and Pastor Larry Coleman officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
