Wanda Annie Williams

Wanda Myers Williams, 92, passed away on Monday morning, August 6, 2012 at a local healthcare facility. Born May 18, 1920, she was a lifelong resident of Cleveland, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Williams; daughter, Mary Ann Morgan; brother, Ernest Myers; and three sisters, Victoria Fortner, Bertha Pritchett and Amanda Gates. Survivors include her two daughters, Thelma Crumley of Burlington, NC and Shirley Renner of Cleveland; one son, Gary Williams of Smyrna; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Brenda Waters. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony. Her family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Fike Funeral Home.
