Damon Harvey Sartin, 34, a resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday, September 09, 2012 at his home. He had been employed at Wal-Mart for the past 15 years. Damon was a graduate of Bradley Central High School, class of 1996. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helena Harvey Sartin; grandparents, Joseph C. and Ruby Harvey and Felmer and Roselle Sartin; and niece, Sophie Ethridge. Survivors include his fiancée`, Bethany Garrison; father, Neil Sartin of Cleveland; sister, Rachel Ethridge and her husband Eric; brother, Jonathan Sartin; nieces, Jessica Sartin, Leah Ethridge, Rena Ethridge and Carrie Hannah; nephew, Eli Ethridge; aunts and uncles: Bruce and Norma Ritchey, Steve Harvey and Ginger Starnes; cousins: Bob and Melissa Lewis, Kenneth Starnes, II, and Sara and Matt Friedt, Jody Harvey, Scott Harvey, Dylan Harvey and Lauren Harvey. Graveside services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2012 in Candies Creek Cemetery with Pastor Ray Cheathem officiating. Jonathan Sartin, Eric Ethridge, Scott Harvey, Chris Johnson, Josh Longwith and Kenneth Starnes will serve as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2012 and on Friday, September 14, 2012 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at Fike Funeral Home.
