Mark Edward Smith

Mark Edward Smith, 40, lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in a local hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Joseph B. and Ethel Smith and Oscar and Virginia Casteel Brock. Survivors include his parents, James E. and Barbara Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Melody Smith; niece and nephew, Lindsey and Tanner Smith; uncle, David Smith; very special friends: Howard and Polly Moore, Diana Moore, Darla Warfield, B.J. Moore and Brian Yarber and family. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 26, 2013 in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Reverend Sam Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow in Calhoun Baptist Church Cemetery. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
