Sharon Kaye White

Sharon Kaye White, 64, of Old Fort, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was a devoted member of the Kinser Church of God for the past 30 years. Sharon was a loving wife and mother and a special person to all her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Leona Tolley McIntosh; father, Edward Theodore Higgins; step father, Edward L. McIntosh; and sister, Norma Jean Higgins. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Larry D. White of Old Fort; sons, Ronald E. Gore of Cleveland and James E. White of Old Fort; sisters, Dianne Strickland and husband, Curtis and Donna Gail Link, all of Cleveland and Joyce Faye Chancey of South Charleston, WV; brothers, Ronald L. Higgins and wife, Linda of Charleston and Bobby Wayne Higgins of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Kinser Church of God with Pastor Guinn Green officiating. Interment will follow in the White Family Cemetery.
