James F. Blackwell

James F. Blackwell, 84, of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 in a local hospital. He was retired from the United States Air Force. He was of the protestant faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Gussie Rymer Blackwell; wife, Natalie Blackwell; and two brothers, Sam Blackwell and Troy Blackwell. Survivors include his sister, Carolyn Garrett and husband, Luke of Cleveland; special friend, Jean Anderson of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The service will conclude with full military honors.
