Dorothy Jean Allen, 85, of McDonald, passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 in a Chattanooga hospital. She was of the Seventh-day Adventist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Erma Brown Stegall. Survivors include her husband, James Leonard Allen of McDonald; children, James Leroy Allen of Decatur, Nona Kassner of McDonald, Joel Arnold Allen of Snohomish, WA and Michelle Depezensky of Olympia, WA; 10 grandchildren; and sister, Clara Scott of Missouri Valley, IA. A private family service will be held on Wednesday at Fike Funeral Home.
