Mary Ash

Mary L. Ash, 83, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, September 7, 2015 at her residence. She was retired from Hardwick Clothes where she worked several years. She was a member of Michigan Avenue Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woody Ash; her son, Tony Prince; her parents, Oliver and Mary Eda Whaley; twin brother, Carl Gene Whaley; brother, Ernest Whaley. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Jan Hartley of Cleveland; granddaughter, Jade Hartley; sister, Nell Whaley; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Shirley Whaley, all of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 in the chapel Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Whaley officiating. A graveside service followed by committal will take place on Friday, September 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The service will conclude with a white dove release ceremony. Her family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the funeral home.
