Rocky Joe Burgess, age 18, a resident of McDonald, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2006 at the family residence. He was a student of Orange Grove School. He is survived by his mother Dina Burgess of McDonald and father, Herbert Bowers of McDonald; one brother, Smokey Bowers of Ooltewah. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Standifer Gap Seventh-day Adventist Church Cemetery in Ooltewah. Ralph Buckner Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
