Janie Hope Kersey, age 41, a resident of Cleveland for the past 21 years passed away Sunday, April 29, 2007. She attended Maple Street Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Randall Dwight Kersey of Cleveland; two children: Sheena Natasha Kersey and Jeremiah Randall Kersey; parents, Donald Hammons and Ruby Hopkins Hammons of KY; brothers and sisters: Ricky Hammons and Todd Hammons of Corbin, KY; Donna Kernes and Lee Hammons of Lexington, KY. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday May 2, 2007 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Reed Wright officiating. Her family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
