Michael L Johnson

Michael Lee Johnson, age 46, a resident of Athens, passed away Friday, August 3, 2007, along with his son Dylan, from injuries received in an automobile accident in Dalton, Georgia. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was employed as a truck driver. He was of the Christian faith. His father, Lee Johnson, preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, Ruby Young of Cleveland; one daughter, Denise Johnson of Cleveland and soon to be grandchild, Trenton Michael Zoyd Thomas; special loved one, Leesa Brown Hoskins of Cleveland; one aunt, Geraldine Humphrey of Cleveland; and several cousins. Funeral services for Michael will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Dudley Nichols and Pastor Jeannie Cissom officiating. Interment will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery.
