Truman Eugene Hembree, 68, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the home of his sister-in-law in Copperhill, TN.  He attended Mercy Tabernacle in Benton, TN.  He enjoyed being with people and attending car shows and auctions.  He had worked in the masonry business as a brick and block layer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph M. and Nora M. Allen Hembree; one sister, Mae Hyde; and three brothers, George Hembree, Luke Hembree, and David Hembree.

He is survived by his daughter, Joan Hembree of Cleveland; one granddaughter, Alexandria Scarbro and husband Alex of Cleveland; step-father, Lee Kelly of Cleveland; two sisters, Marie Cochran and Bonnie Vines, both of Cleveland; one brother, Melvin Hembree of Benton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Mercy Tabernacle with Pastor Jon-David Hembree and Pastor John W. McCann officiating.  Interment will follow at Hembree Family Cemetery in Copperhill, TN, with nephews serving as pallbearers.  A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
