Randy Duckett

Randy "Duck" Duckett, 49, a resident of Hamilton County, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013 at his residence. He attended Greenwood Baptist Church. Mr. Duckett was a graduate of Ooltewah High School class of 1982. He was employed by Honors Golf Course for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlette Duckett in 2012; father, Kenneth Duckett and sister, Beverly Rena Duckett. He is survived by his mother Glenda Welch and husband, Arthur of Georgetown; brothers: Jerry Duckett and wife Kimberly of Cleveland; Lynn Duckett of Georgetown; sister, Kimberly Manring of Nashville; best friend, Bob Lawson of Ooltewah; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Toby Brogdon officiating. A white dove release ceremony on the front lawn will conclude the service. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2013 at the funeral home.
