Josephine Willbanks

Josephine (Josie) Willbanks, 81, a resident of Birchwood/Chattanooga passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 in a local Healthcare Center. She was a member of Harrison Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a former nurse at Bradley Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents: Houston and Berthie (Minnis) Wright; sister: Mary Louise Goodner; brother: Paul Wright. She is survived by a son: David Willbanks; brother: Wallace Wright of Escondido, CA; two nieces: Connie Goodner Hofstatter of Woodstock, GA; and Jeanie Goodner Falkie of Nashville, TN. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Michael A. Mnich. Interment will follow in McInturff Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. The family will receive friends from 10:00 ~ 12:00 prior to the service.
