LeRoy Joseph Whitford

LeRoy Whitford, 86, a resident of Georgetown and previously of Vermont, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011 in a local hospital. He retired from Southwestern Vermont Medical Center where he was an accountant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Marjorie Whitford. Survivors include his wife, Mildred Prince Whitford of Georgetown; daughter, Sherry Van Amerogen and husband, Phil of Attalla, FL; son, Richard Whitford and wife, Tina of Fort Edward, NY; daughter, Sue Williams and husband, Fred of Riceville; son, Bruce Whitford and wife, Kathy of Melrose, NY; son, Gary Whitford and wife, Joan of Georgetown; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and sister; Anita Farnsworth of West Port, NY.
