Axie Marie Maynard, 95, a resident of Cleveland for over 50 years, passed away, Thursday, November 27, 2008 at the family residence. She was preceded in death by her parents Riley and Callie Savage Franklin and two grandchildren: Jamie Maynard and Nichols Ratcliff. Survivors include her children Stewart Maynard of Pittsburg, PA, Betty Neely, Glenda Reed and Jim Maynard all of Cleveland, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and one sister, Lillie Pearl Stump of Cleveland. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2008 in the chapel at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Gene Smith officiating. Interment will be 11 a.m., Monday, December 1, 2008, at Davis Cemetery in Lenoir City, TN. Her family will receive friends, 4-7 p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2008 at the funeral home.
