Raymond Lankford

Raymond Lankford, 73, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, May 17, 2010 in a local healthcare facility. He was a chaplain with the Church of God and retired from the Department of Corrections in Mississippi after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Church of God. He was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Rayfield Lankford; son, Neal Lankford; and parents, Walter and Lillie Geddes Lankford. He is survived by his daughter, Regina Lankford of Hixson; grandchildren, Summer Jones, Max Lankford and Jake Lankford; and two great grandchildren, Ashlee Free and Cameron Free. His family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Concluding services will be held in Charleston, SC.
