Ruby Lee Hood Young

Ruby Lee Hood Young, 85, a resident of Cleveland passed away on Friday, May 31, 2013, at her niece?s residence. She was a member of Community Hall Church. She loved to travel and spending time on the beach. She was a retiree of Duracell. She was preceded in death by her father, Captain Raht Hood, and mother, Bessie Hood Holloway; sister, Mammie Hood; brothers, William Hood and Frank Hood; son, Michael Johnson; and grandson, Dillan Johnson. She is survived by one sister, Jewelden Hood; granddaughter, Denise Johnson; great grandson, Trenton Johnson; niece and caregiver, Wanda Hood; Carol Hall, caregiver; niece, Judy Narmore; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Jeannie Cisson officiating. Interment will follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
