Rita K. Hicks

Rita K. Hicks, 51, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, January 04, 2016 in a Chattanooga healthcare facility.

She enjoyed traveling cross country as a professional truck driver. In her times away from work, she enjoyed motorcycles, horses, and spending time with her grandchild.

She is survived by her mother, Etta Marie Dockery of Cleveland; adopted mother, Barbara Hopkins of Cleveland; two sons: Jeffrey Webb of Cleveland and Brandon Toops of Meigs County, TN; one grandchild, Jalen Webb; one sister, Ova Dockery.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 09, 2016 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
