Janice Mary Lou Davenport

Janice Mary Lou Davenport, 79, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, January 7, 2011, in a local hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Nola Mae Bramlett Sisson, as well as her husband, Warren Davenport, brothers, Johnny Sisson and Jimmy Sisson, and sisters, Majorie Hyde and Norma Roper. She is survived by one son, Greg Davenport and wife Tonnia of Cleveland; daughter, Beth Cheatham of Cleveland and Gene Trew; six grandchildren: Nick Davenport, Alex Telgenhof, Lydia Davenport, Tyler Davenport, Megan Cheatham and Brookelyn Cheatham; two great grandchildren: Chloe Littlejohn and Dylan Davenport; and several very special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2011, in the chapel of Grissom Funeral Home with Reverend Isaac Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Greasy Creek Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 12 - 2 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.
