Mike J. Dixon

Mike "Big Red" Dixon, age 51, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at his residence. He was a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Spencer Dixon. Survivors include his wife, Stacy Dixon; two sons, Seth Dixon and Michael Dixon; mother, Mildred Franklin; and one brother, Johnny Franklin. Funeral services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Allen Farris officiating. Interment will be held privately. The family will receive friends Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Grissom Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
