Young Baines, age 68, of Turtletown, passed away Monday, April 23, 2013 at a health facility in Ducktown. He was born September 20, 1944 in Cherokee County, North Carolina to Messer and Clara Hamby Baines.
He is survived by his son Darryl Baines; two grandchildren, Whitney and Douglas Baines; his mother Clara Baines; his sisters Lori Wade and Mae Crain. Young was blessed with many close friends including Eric and Trinnie McFarland, Danny Brown, Tammy Boring, and Rhonda Rogers; the family thanks them for their love and compassion.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service in honor of Young, to be held 11:00am, Saturday, May 25th at Maple Grove Baptist Church in Turtletown. Reverend Michael Allen will be officiating the services.
