Nancy Linda Dale

Nancy “Linda” Dale, age 75, of Calhoun passed away January 22, 2018 at an area hospital.

Linda was a member of Calhoun First Baptist Church for almost fifty years and most recently a resident of Morningside Assisted Living in Cleveland where she led devotions.

Linda was a woman of many talents and excelled in all of them.  She loved to knit, crochet, quilt and sew.  She also found that she had a natural talent for toile painting.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Lorene Brotz; her brother, Danny Ray Brotz.

Linda is survived by her husband of 57 years, Don Dale; her children, David (Tammy) Dale and Donna (Gary) Moats, all of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Gary Moats II, Amber Moats, Patrick Dale, Justin Moats, Sarah Beth Dale; special friend, Marie.

A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home of Cleveland on Wednesday, January 24 at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Cheatham officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 24 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

An interment service will be held on Thursday, January 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Calhoun Cemetery.
